Installation of nest boxes at Senningerberg

On Saturday 30 November 2024, in glorious winter weather, the local nature team and the Nature Pact advisor installed a series of nest boxes for the dormouse and the muscardin at the Senningerberg Scoutshome.
The Nature Pact advisor began by explaining the biology and way of life of these two protected species.
The nesting boxes were built from local wood by the Forestry Service.
