At the sitting of the Commune council on the 22nd of October 2021, the project for traffic calming measures at the intersection of "rue Andethana" and "rue du coin" was approved. In this project, a roadway elevation was installed over a length of 80 m in the "rue Andethana". The elevation will now serve to slow down and calm down the traffic on this part. Furthermore, the pavement has been adjusted along its entire length. This creates a shared walking and cycling path connecting the campus "Am Sand" and the Commune building.
In the commune council meeting of the 25th of June 2021, the adventure trail "Maarkollef" was approved. This trail has a total length of 3.0 km and runs in the "Groussebësch" between Niederanven and Roodt-Syre. This trail is intended as an innovative educational trail for school children and their families. The aim is for the children to discover and learn about the forest at the stations through interaction of various actions. Along the trail, 13 stations are planned where the jay either motivates visitors to interact or imparts knowledge with additional information. At the stations "Beech Search" and "Oak View", the jay introduces different tree species from the forest and challenges the children to search for them in the forest. Furthermore, the jay motivates visitors to be creative at the "Forest Art" station. At this station, visitors also learn interesting facts about the camouflage behaviour of various animals. The "Sensory Trail" helps visitors to become aware of the forest by touching, looking and listening. At the other stations, such as "Water", "Soil Secrets", "Tasks of the Forest" and "Valuable Wood", the jay explains the partly hidden treasures of the forest. In addition to parking for cars at the aircraft memorial, access by bicycle will be guaranteed due to the new cycle path between Niederanven and Roodt-Syre.
The inauguration of the ''Maarkollef'' adventure trail took place on the 5th of May 2024 and is also know under the name Kannerwee Groussebësch. For more information on the Kannerwee Groussebësch, visit also our page on the hiking trails.
At the commune council meeting of the 21st of May 2021, the project regarding the redevelopment of the “rue Routscheed” was approved. In this project, a sidewalk between the connecting road to “rue Laach” and the school will be constructed. This sidewalk crosses the Parking area of the CIPA, which is a measure to make the car driver aware that you need to be careful in this zone and drive slowly. This way we can guarantee a safe way to school on this section. Furthermore, the bus stop in front of the school will be adapted so that the school children can ideally get on the bus.
The traffic garden was inaugurated on the 13th of May 2023 as part of the Nuit du Sport. It offers children the chance to learn how to use a bicycle in public spaces in a safe and fun way. The traffic garden can be used by schools and the Maison Relais, as well as privately.

The levels of the tower were filled with different materials and a native herb mixture was sown around the tower. In addition, trees and shrubs were planted that are particularly pollinator-friendly due to their flowers.
